What Information We Collect
We may collect the following information:
-
Contact information such as your name, email address, telephone number and billing address
-
Information relevant to our fundraising or other activities
-
Usage data
We use Wix and PayPal to securely process donations or other payments made via our website. When you make a payment, information stored about you includes your name, email address, phone number, donation amount(s) and donation date(s), along with other information that you may provide. We use this information for administrative purposes only.
Usage data may include information such as (but not limited to) your IP address, device type and browser, the pages that you visit, unique device identifiers and other diagnostics data.
Donations Via Our Website
You can donate to New Hope Animal Rescue via the donation form on our website and choose a one-time amount or a recurring amount (monthly donation subscription). If you select a recurring donation, you will be charged for this each month via the payment method you enter at checkout. When you donate, information including your name, email address, billing address, donation amount, donation type (one-time or recurring), date of donation, and donation/order ID is stored for administrative purposes.

If a payment fails on a recurring donation, then the donation subscription will enter a grace period of three days, during which one attempt will be made automatically each day using the existing payment method to try to process the donation and continue the subscription. If the grace period elapses without successful payment, the donation subscription will cancel automatically.
You can cancel your donation subscription at any time. To cancel using your Wix membership account, visit our Ways to Help page and use the link by the donation form to login to your account, then via the dropdown menu go to ‘My Subscriptions’ and cancel if you wish. To cancel without a Wix membership account, look for the subscription in the relevant area of your bank account or payment platform (e.g. PayPal) and remove the subscription. If you have any difficulty with cancellation, either contact us or Wix Support and request that your donation subscription be cancelled. You will need to provide the donation details such as the transaction ID and/or the email address used for the subscription in order to verify your payment and process the cancellation.

Donations which have already been completed are non-refundable, however if you believe you have made an error with your donation please contact us as we may be able to help.
This information relates specifically to donations made via the donation form on our website, not to donations processed elsewhere.
